Day 3
We took a plan to Botswana. Would you believe they served us a box lunch on the plane and it was FREE. I had a rolled smoked turkey with a smear of mayonnaise Pasta salad and another salad that had carrots and peppers and a little spice to it. We landed in Maun, traveled through customs and were greeted by Helicopter Horizons Representatives and a representative from Timbuktu. I was presented we a gifts, lovely scarf and zipped pouch.



Our pilot Kane flew us to our camp, Cha Cha Mesi. We were greeted by the employees that sang a welcome song for us.
In the main lounge Willie gave us the rules. We had to be escorted to our tests at night and in the early morning hours for picked up. The day's were laid out for us. Breakfast in the morning, morning drive, lunch, siesta, tea, afternoon drive and then dinner.
From the main lounge across the delta we could see about 80 hippos.
After our meet and greet Dirk and I were walking back to our tent and there were Bamboons that were blockotje path to our tent. Not knowing what to do we went back for an escort.
At 4:30, Caltex our driver, took us out for we our first game drive.
